From a young age I’ve been curious. My two favorite questions were “how” and “why”. That sort of curiosity led me to discover how things were put together and why they worked like they did. After acquiring some skills with tools and learning a few safety requirements, I started building things at a pretty early age. The enthusiasm for building never really stopped. I put it on pause as I explored an academic life through college and graduate school only to learn that what I really wanted to do was build things.
So, I picked up where I left off and started a business to repair and renovate homes. Pretty quickly I realized in order to carry out my passion it required a general contractor’s license. After getting my GC license, I devoted the next number of years building, renovating and restoring homes in the Triangle. My approach to home inspections is driven by my early-found curiosity and subsequent passion for building, and my knowledge and expertise as a general contractor.
Buying a home is one of the biggest purchases many of us ever make. You deserve to know what’s there—what you can see and what you can’t. That’s where I set myself apart. I will inspect your home with the care of a contractor who’s guided by building codes, and the inquiry of an inspector who’s concerned for the safety of the home for you and your family. So once I’ve inspected your home and provided you with a written report, you will know exactly what you’re buying.
